Why did I choose law?

There are many reasons to justify my decision. Today, I do not want to discuss it at length. Just want to share two quotes, which will suffice the purpose. As I mentioned in my introduction of this blog that I like philosophy. Law is very philosophical; At times reading an article on legal field gives you a pleasure of reading a novel.

So, first quote is from W.W.Park's article viz. 'Arbitration in Autumn.' (title itself a philosophical one!)

Tucked between summer and winter, autumn gives us days that grow shorter, flowers that fade and leaves that fall from the trees. Often invoked as a symbol for decline and decay, the season possesses its share of melancholy tones.

Autumn carries positive connotations as well. A sense of robust maturity infuses a season of mellow fruitfulness when apples turn red, orchards fill with fruit, grain ripens and pumpkins present themselves for picking. In many places, the season triggers a new academic year for students and teachers.

The second one is from 'Vansh' a Gujarati novel written by my favourite author Shri Chandrkant Bakshi.

"માણસને પણ પાનખર જેવું કંઇક આવવું જોઈએ... પછી શરીર અને મન બહુ સ્વચ્છ લાગે છે."
(Men too should experience something like Autumn... which cleans his body and soul.)

I do not know if anyone can find relevancy with these two autumnal quotes which i did.

Moral of the story: Expect autumn in your life. :) ;) We cling to our own point of view, as though everything depended on it. Yet our opinions have no permanence; like autumn and winter, they gradually pass away.
